They used to play a lot of soccer, but now that they are in high school, that's shifting as their personalities shift. They are very sports-oriented, as are we. My husband and I love to golf. We love to be outdoors. We love to boat and go to the beach. I also love going to plays. I'm starting a tradition with my girls where we go to different shows. This year, we are going to the Van Wezel for The Nutcracker. That was a pastime of mine growing up that I wanted to pass down to them. My birthday is in December, so every year my family would do something special with me. We would go to downtown Detroit and the Fox Theater, dress up for a fancy dinner, and then go to the play. I remember seeing Fiddler on the Roof. Annie, and The Nutcracker. That's the kind of experience I want to have with my kids. They will love it, and it's a special time for us that they'll carry into adulthood."
